Moody Payment Plan
The Moody Payment Plan is an interest-free alternative to a lump sum payment of the student bill. It is administered by the Student Accounts Office in Moody Central. The plan is available to all students with a minimum balance of $500.00.
This plan allows the semester total to be split into monthly payments.
Enrollment and Activation
Students with balances of at least $500 are eligible to enroll in the Moody Payment Plan each semester. Enrollment requires a down payment and a non-refundable $60 enrollment fee.
Tips for Managing Your Payment Plan
Enroll Early for a smaller down payment and lower monthly installments. Enroll in your second session courses at the beginning of the semester!
Read your Moody Email & Nelnet Notifications to stay current with account activity and installment/withdrawal amounts. Expect your balance to fluctuate throughout the semester (PCM fines, room and board adjustments, Health Service visits, etc.). When you receive these notifications, log in to Nelnet to adjust your monthly installments accordingly.
Finalize the Details of your Financial Aid as soon as possible. Financial Aid that is still in pending status is calculated into your balance in Nelnet as if it has been applied. It is recommended that you accept or decline loans before signing up for a payment plan.
Check your Account to make sure it is accurate, up to date, and the necessary funds are available for the automatic withdrawal. Nelnet charges a non-refundable $30 fee for every returned payment. Students who fall behind in payments will be subject to late fees and holds.
Remember: it’s Automatic! Once set up, your payments will be processed automatically according to the schedule. If you need to make any changes or want to make additional manual payments, you must do so 2-3 business days before the scheduled automatic withdrawal.
